Easy Scheduling Tools
It's easy to generate a complete schedule with a few clicks of your mouse. You can copy a day, week or even a month of schedule with ease. Other scheduling tools include bulk updating, exporting and printing from any web-enabled device.
Real-time Availabilities
Click any employee name to check in real-time who else is available to fill the shift. Your most qualified employees are listed first, along with the total hours already scheduled for the week (includes hours from all store schedules). Click the "Mark as Open" link to make this shift available on the shift boards of the employees listed, whoever picks it up first wins :). We'll even send you an email with employee details when your open shift gets picked up.
Open-shift Schedules
Some of our customers create entire schedules with nothing but open shifts. They let their staff pick and choose which shifts they'd like to work, and then they make last minute adjustments for any additional coverage requirements. Creating additional open shifts on approved schedules will automatically email your available employees based on their shift alarm settings.
eSchedule Calendar Sync
Subscribe to your eSchedule calendar with any device that supports ICAL subscriptions! Easily view your eSchedule calendar in other applications like Microsoft Office 2007, Apple iCal and Google Calendar. Once a shift is accepted it automatically appears (within 10 minutes or so) on all of the devices that are setup to subscribe (iPhone works too!!). You'll always have access to your most up-to-date schedules on all of your devices.
Employee Shift Board
The Shift Board brings together new shift assignments and upcoming open shifts & trades. Employees can accept or decline new shifts (if the setting is enabled), and pick up open or traded shifts all in real-time. eSchedule notifies managers when shifts are declined, open shifts are accepted and when trades are ready for approval (if trades are enabled).
Employee Profiles
Each employee has a profile page where managers can view and change current store & position assignments. You will also find convenient access to upcoming and historical employee schedules (from all stores), approved time-off requests and current employee availability information. The eSchedule employee profile gives managers the ability to quickly lookup where an employee is scheduled and what their current availability is like. No more sticky notes!
Time-off Requests
With eSchedule, it's easy for employees to request time-off! Once submitted, the time-off request is automatically forwarded to a manager for approval. When processed by a manager, the employee is notified via email of the result. If the employee time-off request was approved, eSchedule will automatically keep track of everything.
Schedule Reports
eSchedule comes with 5 reports by default, but our real specialty is creating custom views into your scheduling data. We've built some really cool analytical tools that help people like you make decisions when creating employee schedules. We also have easy exports to excel and custom exports to your in-house tools or 3rd party payroll providers.

It's easy to enable or disable the out-of-box eSchedule features from your settings tab.
